Merged files end up out of order. Scanned pages come in sideways. A late addition belongs on page 2, not page 12. Reorganizing a PDF used to mean expensive editing software — but you can drag, rotate, and delete pages visually right in your browser.

What you can do

The Organize PDF tool gives you three actions on a visual grid of page thumbnails:

  • Reorder — drag any page to a new position
  • Rotate — turn a page 90° at a time
  • Delete — remove pages you don't need

All three in one place, then save a single clean PDF.

How it works

Pages are rendered as draggable thumbnails with pdf.js. When you save, the tool rebuilds the document with pdf-lib in your chosen order, applying each rotation as a lossless metadata change and dropping deleted pages. Nothing is uploaded — it's all client-side.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Organize PDF tool
  2. Drag and drop your PDF
  3. Drag pages to reorder them; use the rotate icon to turn a page; use the trash icon to delete one
  4. Click Save organized PDF

Common uses

  • Fix scanner order — put double-sided scans back into reading order
  • Rotate landscape scans — straighten pages that came in sideways
  • Reassemble merged files — reorder after combining several PDFs
  • Drop blanks — delete the empty pages scanners often insert

Is quality affected?

No. Reordering copies pages exactly and rotation is a metadata flag — there is no re-compression and no quality loss. Text stays selectable and images stay sharp.

Organize vs the single-purpose tools

Organize PDF combines three jobs. If you only need one, the focused tools are quicker:

Only rotating pages Rotate PDF
Only deleting pages Remove Pages
Combining files first Merge PDF
