You don't always need Acrobat to change a PDF. Adding a note, dropping in a logo, filling a blank line, or circling a figure are quick jobs you can do in your browser — with the document never leaving your device.

What you can add

The Edit PDF tool lets you place three kinds of content on any page:

  • Text — click to add a text box, then type; set the color and size
  • Images — drop in a PNG or JPG (a logo, a stamp, a photo)
  • Drawings — freehand pen for circling, underlining, or annotating

Switch to Select mode to drag anything into place.

How it works

Each page is rendered with pdf.js so you can work on top of it. When you save, your additions are flattened onto the pages with pdf-lib — text is drawn, images are embedded, and pen strokes become vector lines. It all runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Edit PDF tool
  2. Drag and drop your PDF
  3. Use the Text, Draw, and Image tools to add content; use Select to move items
  4. Navigate pages if needed, then click Save edited PDF

What this editor does — and doesn't — do

This is a lightweight editor for adding content on top of a PDF. It's perfect for:

  • Filling blanks on a flat form
  • Adding a note, date, or initials
  • Dropping in a logo or stamp
  • Marking up a document for review

It does not edit the document's existing text — you can't click an existing paragraph and retype it, because PDF text is laid out as fixed glyphs, not editable flow. To change the original wording, convert with PDF to Word, edit in Word, and export back to PDF.
